Hi Ed,
Front wheels come off with an allen key. There is one bolt to release. Quick and easy.
I attach front and rear blinkies as follows:
Front: onto the vertical derailer mast at the front of the bike
Rear: to the horizontal strut on the back of the seat
Another option is to use helmet-mounted lights. Bell helmets have a model that has mounting points for lights.
